I use my work to invite others to notice the world the way I notice it.

I am fascinated by the form, light, and color that make up our every day, especially the natural world. When I paint, I use these elements like puzzle pieces to try to communicate not only how things look, but how it feels to see them.

My subjects often hold personal symbolism and I hope that my viewers will also connect my paintings with their own personal iconography.

I create from a sense of admiration. It’s a form of gratitude and worship- imitating the creativity of God and expressing the creative spirit he’s given to me.
